I work from photographs. The finished pieces are mixed media: gouache, charcoal, ink, gold, Georgian script on paper (sometimes seen with optical lenses so layers lift or shift).

Current work looks at the Italian courtyards of Tbilisi: shared yards that are being sold, emptied, or left to collapse.
